Oath of Servitude
Book 1 in the Punishment Sequence. This is the story of Teague and Cailin, two teenagers who have been brought together by fate. Teague, a human, struggles to come to terms with the consequences of a recent accident that has destroyed the happy life that he had once enjoyed. Cailin, a pixi, is trying to stay true to herself while fighting against forces beyond her control that have exiled her from her home into this strange world of humans. She fears the darkness. He cannot escape it. But when the two of them are thrown together, they begin to discover the light inside of themselves.
Awesome awesome book, And you can tell that I really got into it because I read in 24 hours so yeah I do think it is worth a read, best part it is first in a series.
So lets get into the book with out giving anything away, first and foremost I love, love love that it is written in more than one point of view so you feel like you are getting a little bit of everyones emotions
so the story is about a pixi family,a “human” family and some how both of their lives and faiths are intertwined, The oldest daughter of the pixi family is sent to live with the “human” family for both a punishment and to serve out a debt that was her fathers to begin with, but a deal is made with the pixi clan elders for the be there for a year or face a punishment must worth, There is something not quite right about the humans its something you can’t put your finger on it but it makes you want to more , And there is something even more spine chilling going on inside of the pixi clan oh boy, the twist and turns that this story takes oh boy and the romance the romance its so unexpected because its coming from two yes two unexpected places and the issues that come are going to come from it.
So in my opinion it a great read so I am recommending this to anyone and every one because I was unable to put it down and for the fact that you become so invested in these characters that C.E Wilson created your going to want to know what happens next
