Review 1 Altered by Jennifer Rush

Jennifer Rush

Synopsis: When you can’t trust yourself, who can you believe?

Everything about Anna’s life is a secret. Her father works for the Branch at the helm of its latest project: monitoring and administering treatments to the four genetically altered boys in the lab below their farmhouse. There’s Nick, Cas, Trev . . . and Sam, who has stolen Anna’s heart. When the Branch decides it’s time to take the boys, Sam stages an escape, killing the agents sent to retrieve them.

Anna is torn between following Sam or staying behind in the safety of her everyday life. But her father pushes her to flee, making Sam promise to keep her away from the Branch, at all costs. There’s just one problem. Sam and the boys don’t remember anything before living in the lab—not even their true identities.

Now on the run, Anna soon discovers that she and Sam are connected in more ways than either of them expected. And if they’re both going to survive, they must piece together the clues of their past before the Branch catches up to them and steals it all away.

OMG THIS book Loved it so much that I couldn’t put it down.

Its about a girl who suddenly finds herself on the run with four boys that lived in a lab below her and her fathers home. The boys have no clue of who they where before the lab or even why they are in there, so once they escape they set out to figure everything.

what i really like about the book is that the female lead Anna is strong and can stand up for herself, even though she is “under the protection” of the boys, she is very capable of defending herself.

The boys swoon I love Sam and his no nonsense ways about everything and the emotional tension between him and Anna wow, Cas is funny and easy going and loveable that you don’t want anything to happen to him, Trev is what every girl would want in a male best friend who always knows the right thing to say but there is more to him that meets the eye, and Nick… Nick is a total jackass but when you learn about his past its kind of forgivable, to me he means well but goes at it in a jackass way.

This book has the perfect amount of romance between Anna and Sam

I loved it that I reread it, and I trully can’t wait for anything else written by Jennifer Rush
